KCNC Welcomes New Staff
We would like to welcome two new additions to our staff:
Yolanda Arias, Secretary II
Yolanda has been with The Kern County Superintendent of Schools for seven years. Most recently, she worked for the Learning Technologies Dept. in Curriculum and Instruction Services.
Yolanda joined the KCNC staff on June 16th. She will provide administrative support to Steve Sanders, Executive Director of KCNC, and Jayme Stuart, Child and Family Services Facilitator. As such, she oversees office administration and provides support in contract administration, production of statistical reports, preparation of grant applications and oversees fiscal responsibilities for many of the KCNC programs.
Lourdes Niggle, Child and Family Services Facilitator
Lourdes has been with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools for nearly 11 years. She comes to us from Community Connection for Child Care where she held the position of Child and Family Services Facilitator with the Local Investment in Child care project. Her duties were to train family child care providers in all aspects of the business of child care (marketing, accounting, business plan, taxes, investments and retirement plans)
Lourdes will join us on July 1st. In her new role, through KCNC’s First Five Kern grant, she will oversee the technical assistance provided to Kern County’s Collaboratives through marketing, evaluation, integration of services and policy development. Working directly with the Collaboratives, Lourdes will assist in growth, needs assessment, sustainability, training and volunteer outreach. Lourdes will serve as the
