Kern County Children & Families Commission Seeks Community Input
The Kern County Children & Families Commission (KCCFC) is in the process of revising its strategic plan that guides funding decision for Proposition 10 funding in Kern County. A key component of this process is the input from community members and service providers regarding how funding should be used to support early childhood development in Kern County.
The KCCFC is scheduling meetings throughout Kern County to obtain input. They anticipate meeting during the months of March and April.
Please contact Adam Alvidrez at the KCCFC at (661) 328-8888 if you are interested in hosting a community meeting and/or focus groups with parents over the next couple of months. The KCCFC strategic Plan will only be strengthened by our ability to gather input from a wide cross-section of our community.
