Kern County Group Home Coalition
Formed in 2003, the Group Home Coalition's mission is to unify and meet the needs of Kern County youth through a collaborative effort of group home providers and community resources. This will be accomplished by meeting as a coalition once per month to discuss current legislation, trends, openings, and special guest speakers relating to the group homes' purpose. Coalition members consist of Kern County Foster Family Agency and Group Home Administrators, Kern County Probation, Kern County Department of Human Services and Community Care and Licensing Representatives. The Kern County Group Home Coalition is hosted by Foster Youth Services.Upcoming Meeting/Training Dates
